AIDS Awareness Ribbons are among the most recognizable of all the ribbon pins and are worn by patients, families, friends, doctors, nurses, and various support groups.  They have been seen at a multitude of televised benefits, fund-raisers,  awards shows, and memorials and have been an on going standard for two decades at AIDS Awareness Walks around the country.  World Aids Day is December 1st of each year.  December is Aids awareness month.
