A full moon rises behind a steadfast wolf as it howls. Bark at the moon is a misnomer, wolves and other predatory dogs howl nightly but humans equate it to their own feelings and therefor on the night of the full moon hearing a wolf howl invokes fear, dread, loneliness, or excitement.  An unprecedented look into wolf behavior has been observed by thousands as visitors and camera crews flock to Yellow Stone National Park to see the re-introduced pack of wolves there that now number over 100.
